The Couples Communication & Connection Workshop is a psychoeducational relationship enrichment program designed to provide couples with practical skills, knowledge, and tools to strengthen communication, connection, understanding, and relationship wellbeing.
This workshop is educational in nature and is not a substitute for individual counselling, couples counselling, crisis intervention, mental health treatment, or psychotherapy.

Participation and Suitability
Participants acknowledge that the workshop is intended for couples who wish to enhance their relationship skills and understanding.
The workshop may not be suitable for couples experiencing:
Current family and domestic violence.
Coercive control.
Significant relationship safety concerns.
Acute mental health crises.
Active substance dependence.
Circumstances requiring therapeutic intervention beyond the scope of the workshop.
Serene Solutions reserves the right to decline or discontinue participation where attendance is considered unsuitable or may adversely impact the safety or wellbeing of participants.
Respect, Privacy and Confidentiality
Participants are expected to contribute to a respectful, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Participants agree to:
Treat all attendees with respect and courtesy.
Refrain from discriminatory, threatening, abusive, or disruptive behaviour.
Respect the privacy of all participants.
Not disclose information shared by other attendees outside the workshop.
Participants will never be required to disclose personal or sensitive relationship information to the group.
Activities are designed to encourage reflection and communication between partners while maintaining appropriate privacy and professional boundaries.
While every effort is made to promote confidentiality, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in a group environment. Participants are therefore encouraged to share only information they are comfortable discussing.
Children and Additional Attendees
This workshop is designed specifically for adult couples.
Children, infants, family members, friends, support persons, or additional attendees are not permitted to attend.
The workshop addresses relationship matters that may not be appropriate for children and requires participants' full attention and engagement. Children can also unintentionally compromise the privacy, comfort, and learning experience of other participants.
Participants who arrive with children may be refused entry and normal cancellation conditions will apply.
Attendance and Participation
Participants are expected to:
Arrive on time.
Participate respectfully.
Follow facilitator instructions.
Maintain appropriate behaviour throughout the workshop.
Serene Solutions reserves the right to remove participants whose behaviour is disruptive, threatening, inappropriate, or negatively impacts the experience of others. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
Payment Policy
Booking Confirmation
A non-refundable booking deposit of 50% of the workshop fee is required to secure a place in the workshop.
Places are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the workshop.
Failure to make payment by this time may result in the booking being cancelled and the place being offered to another participant.
Cancellation Policy
Participant Cancellation
The 50% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop may transfer their booking to a future workshop date once, subject to availability.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are not eligible for transfer or refund.
Non-attendance on the day of the workshop will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
The small-group nature of the workshop means places cannot generally be filled at short notice.
Workshop Cancellation by Serene Solutions
Should Serene Solutions need to cancel or postpone a workshop due to facilitator illness, venue issues, low enrolment, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, participants will be offered either:
A transfer to an alternative workshop date; or
A full refund of monies paid.
