Where - The Grapevine Community Artspace

The workshop is held in the beautiful Grapevine Community Artspace overlooking the lake in the heart of Ellenbrook.

The peaceful surroundings provide the perfect environment to step away from daily pressures and focus on your relationship.

Located directly beside the French Riviera Patisserie on the corner of Brookmount and Arrowsmith, couples are welcome to enjoy breakfast or coffee before the workshop.

The café opens from 7:30am, providing plenty of time to settle in before our prompt 9:00am start.

Many couples also enjoy returning to the café after the workshop for lunch and conversation, allowing time to reflect on the insights and tools gained throughout the morning.

A private weekend couples counselling session typically costs $195 per hour.

Meet Theresa

Social Worker | Psychotherapist | Couples Counsellor (Hart Centre)

Theresa is the founder of Serene Solutions Counselling and Social Services and has supported individuals, couples, and families throughout Western Australia for many years.

A migrant who embraced Australian life with both hands and heart, Theresa understands the unique challenges that Australian lifestyles can place on relationships.

With lived experience of FIFO family life spanning more than 30 years, together with extensive professional education and clinical experience, Theresa has developed particular expertise in supporting couples navigating communication challenges, trauma, mental health concerns, neurodiversity, life transitions, and relationship stress.

Having called Ellenbrook home for more than two decades—long before the Grapevine, local shops, and Bunnings were established—Theresa is passionate about supporting the local community she loves.

She has a special interest in helping couples understand how culture, family experiences, neurodiversity, and lifestyle influence relationships. Her approach focuses on creating greater understanding, stronger communication, and lasting connection.

Participants often describe Theresa's style as warm, approachable, practical, and deeply compassionate.

Many couples tell us they would love to attend a workshop but worry about being expected to discuss private aspects of their relationship in front of others.

You can relax.

This workshop is designed to be educational rather than therapeutic.

You will never be required to disclose personal or sensitive relationship information to the group.

Activities are completed privately with your partner and are designed to promote understanding, communication, and connection while maintaining dignity and privacy.

All participants are expected to contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

To secure your place:

• A 50% non-refundable deposit ($105) is required at registration.

• The remaining balance must be paid at least 48 hours before the workshop.

• Places are limited to maintain a comfortable and engaging learning environment.
